New Windows

Friday, May 28th, 2010

About a year ago, my landlord titled me to tell me that I necessary to get out of my apartment for the weekend. I was a little confused, and wasn’t sure where we were going to go. I was about to protest when she told me that someone was coming in to put in newborn windows, and it would probably verify all day Sat and some time on Sunday. After she said that, I found no reason to argue. We had broad heating bills, and the windows were in sorry shape.

I decided to go stay overnight at my moms, and we packed up for a few days. She titled back and reminded us that we had to advise everything from in front of the windows, or it was going to verify longer. It sounded like a lot of work for newborn windows, but I was willing to do anything if it would save us some money in the long run. When we got back, our newborn windows were all in, and thankfully, there wasn’t much of a mess to pick up.

We love our newborn windows, and they hit saved us money on our heating bill. It’s not a huge difference, but a nice one. I hit also found that these windows are so easy to clean, and making time to be sure they are clean on both sides is easy. That is because the newborn windows can be clean from the inside completely without going outside. They open and close as they should, and they hit nice locks on them, which was good programme because I springy on the second story and I hit a teen daughter. The last thing I want is for her to fall out of digit of them.

If you are considering newborn windows, do some research into the models that will save you the most money, and are the easiest to clean. It really will make a difference in your bills, and will also provide your home or apartment a whole newborn feeling. When it’s hard to wash windows, it is something that gets skipped. However, if you hit newer windows that are easy to clean, the chore is not going to bother you that much. Even better, newer windows tend to work better with section systems, and they can even be opened from the top rather than the bottom if you hit little ones. You’ll still hit to watch them around the windows, of course, but having them open up broad will be very helpful.

Get Charlotte’s Adorable Apron

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Sex and the City 2 hits theaters today! I’m so psyched! I’ll be seeing it tonight with a group of girlfriends  (after a round of cosmos!) and then again on Sunday with my mom (after a chic Manhattan brunch!).

I’m excited to reunite with the whole fab foursome… Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and – my fave – Charlotte. I’ve always had a special spot for her. She’s prim, proper, and preppy. She loves her family, adores her friends, and strives to be a domestic diva! And she always looks so darn cute! How much do I want her cupcake apron? Lucky for me, it’s available for purchase online. Looks like Charlotte and I have similar style too!

Aloha!

Friday, May 21st, 2010

Pardon the light posting… I’m having a busy week! I was in San Fran at Glam headquarters for a few days… then back in NYC for 12 hours… And finally on a nine hour flight to – yes – Hawaii! (I couldn’t rearrange the travel in a more efficient way. Believe me. I tried.) Anyway, it was totally the worth coach-induced back pain because I’m now sipping a mai tai (which is pretty much the liquid equivalent of a percocet) at the gorgeous and historic Royal Hawaiian — otherwise known as The Pink Palace. I’m here on a group press trip to explore all that Oahu has to offer. (Sometimes my job really, really rocks.) Stay tuned. When I return next week I’ll be blogging in full force sharing my experiences with you! See you then! xo
